| Here we are talking to Johnny, our shuttle driver. He was very kind and willing to wait for us to unload completely. He has two grown daughters and talked a long time to Mary and Kate, and they enjoyed the attention. After a couple of hours when we were sure we had everything he left. We ate lunch, finished packing, and four hours after arriving (!) we shoved off. It's a good thing traffic was slow on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving or people would have been real mad at us for holding us up. That's Fred Zagst packing the canoe, his wife Kay behind him, Ann and Mary on the trailer, and Kate behind the car. ->Next |
