| And they're off! Here are the beautiful Sierra Del Carmen mountains. As you can see we didn't pack light, but we didn't have any problem with the water level. The river was down to a little over 4 feet on the Rio Grande Village gauge, which is considered "ideal" by some people. The current was great, and we didn't feel it was pushy at all. I don't think I would mind having 5 or 6 ft to paddle on, it would just mean less work. ->Next |
