This shot helps explain what kind of equipment is required to pick up your daughter at Camp Mystic. About half of the vehicles were Chevy Suburbans. Most of the rest were other full sized SUV's. A small number were smaller SUV's like Ford Explorers, or minivans. Every now and then you'd see a car. Hey! This is Teaxs, after all. To be fair, everyone had to return with a large trunk filled with camp stuff, at least two other duffle bags, and in most cases the whole family. It's only natural that people brought their largest vehicles, but I think it's funny that about half owned Suburbans. They call them the Texas Cadillac.
