Kate was especially glad to see Mary. Everyone was excited to meet again, and to tell each other what we've been doing for the last month. It was overcast and raining just a little off and on, but not enough to be a problem. A few days earlier, we were way behind for rain for the year, and most of the hill country received between 8 and 15 inches of rain in the two days preceeding this and the week afterward.
