| I don't have many photos of people skiing this year, cause I was just managing to ski and not fall and that was keeping me busy enough. I did snap this shot of Kate near the top of the main lift we were using. It gave us a good 10 minute run down the mountain over a variety of different types of conditions. The weather was better than last year. Last year was a little too warm, so we had trouble keeping cool on the slopes, and the snow was melting fast. This time we made good use of our warm clothes, and we could stay zipped up and still not overheat. If we fell the snow was dry, not wet. And the 9 inch snow the day before we went skiing made for some good skiing conditions. Ann overheard some people who come here every year, and they said it was the best conditions they could remember. Next |
