Picking Pecans at Swift River Pecan Farm

This was an amazing machine. The shaking head hung from the end of the boom, and it grabbed the tree. Then they turned on the shaker, and the tree shook so fast the tips of the branches just whipped around and all the nuts fell to the ground. You can see how thick they are against the sky to the right of the tree. Sticks, leaves, pecans and everything come falling down, and the shaker gets covered up. ->Next
