| Here's one of Troy's tractors beside a harvester ant colony. The harvester ants are pretty harmless because they collect debris from the ground to grow fungus, but the leaf-cutter ants, which are similar, can strip a tree of leaves in one night. Troy really hates the leaf-cutter ants, and goes after them with a concoction of orange oil and other things that do not harm the trees. ->Next |
